Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations across Java, Oracle, Informatica, and Unix-based platforms.
- Monitor and maintain application health, availability, performance, uptime, and incident response against SLA thresholds.
- Manage batch scheduling and orchestration using Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow.
- Own incident triage, root cause analysis, resolution, stakeholder communication, and recurrence prevention.
- Support incident, problem, change, configuration, release readiness, capacity, availability, monitoring, and service analytics functions.
- Create runbooks, documentation, knowledge transfer materials, operational metrics, and dashboards.
- Identify production risks and continuous improvement opportunities while acting as an escalation point between business and technology teams.
- Support Java applications, Unix shell scripting, Python, and Perl in heterogeneous production environments.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience leading day-to-day production operations across Java, Oracle, Informatica, and Unix-based systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with production monitoring, incident management, batch scheduling, service reliability, and operational improvement.
