Responsibilities
- Contribute as a team member across technical streams of Guidewire engagements.
- Configure and integrate Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter solutions.
- Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators and clients.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports to the lead.
- Apply software development best practices and enterprise system integration knowledge.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, or MCA degree.
- 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter configuration and integration.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance domain and either Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products.
- Knowledge of Java, JEE, XML, Web Services using Axis 2, SQL, ANT, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Castor.
- Experience with an enterprise messaging system and Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
- Real-time experience with enterprise system integration, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Understanding and experience with software development best practices.
- Excellent business communication skills and prior client-facing experience.
