Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient, secure services, prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready features.
- Lead small to medium engineering workstreams through design, development, testing, and delivery.
- Drive code quality through coding standards, code reviews, clean design, and maintainable implementations.
- Identify and implement modernization, architectural, automation, and process improvements, including greenfield initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects and product owners on technical direction, roadmaps, and long-term engineering strategy.
- Mentor junior developers and SDETs through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices and static analysis to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Own software lifecycle activities including analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and operational hand-off.
- Build and maintain data models, database scripts, migrations, large-dataset solutions, and analytics workflows.
- Communicate technical concepts to engineering teams and technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
- Expertise in .NET, C#, Node.js with modern JavaScript frameworks, or Python.
- Experience with PowerShell or Bash for system administration and automation.
- Experience with public-cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Deep expertise in at least one domain such as server-side web development, client-side web development, REST/web services, large-scale data analytics, networking, or service mesh.
- Expertise in SOLID design principles, object-oriented programming and design, SOA patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, YAML build and deployment pipelines, unit testing, integration testing, or performance/load testing.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, pull requests, and branching standards.
- Experience with SQL, large datasets, data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics engines.
- Demonstrated secure development expertise using static code analysis tools.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate across teams through the full SDLC and communicate effectively with technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud-hosted SQL and NoSQL data stores, full-stack development, .NET service development, Java Spring Boot, mobile technologies, and modern UI frameworks.
