Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for applications and automation systems.
- Own and continuously improve platform engineering tools and services, including documentation and cross-team communication.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
- Manage CI/CD systems and GitOps workflows for reliable software delivery.
- Implement and operate logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Enforce security best practices, vulnerability management, and incident-response readiness.
- Participate in the Platform Engineering team's on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong experience with physical infrastructure, networking equipment, and servers.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.
- Hands-on coding experience with Python and Shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of Linux internals and system administration.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
- Deep knowledge of self-hosted and managed Kubernetes, including Helm.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry observability stacks.
- Experience with bare-metal provisioning such as MaaS is preferred.
