Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, document, deploy, and support network measurement features in the CQoE and Speedtest Android SDKs.
- Debug and contribute to the shared C++ measurement engine across the JNI/NDK boundary.
- Maintain SDKs and libraries consumed by carrier partners, third-party developers, and internal client applications.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling to coding, QA, and data analysis with safety, privacy, security, and verification guardrails.
- Lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, targeted implementation, and end-to-end delivery of assigned features and fixes.
- Roll out SDK and measurement changes using feature flags, quality checks, and post-release validation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with foundations in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience developing for Android with Kotlin and Java.
- Substantial experience building and maintaining SDKs or libraries.
- Ability to write SQL for production and measurement-data investigations and use Python or similar tools for analysis.
- Experience applying data-quality monitoring practices to identify anomalies before they reach partners.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, data analysis, time management, and self-directed work skills.
- Preferred: telecom or network measurement, QoE/QoS, RF/cellular, or iOS experience; networking knowledge covering IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, and WebSocket; and embedded systems experience with C++.
