Base Salary
$230k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure for notification relevance, targeting, ranking, and personalization.
- Architect and implement end-to-end ML pipelines covering data ingestion, feature computation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and online serving.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver notification solutions.
- Lead experimentation frameworks including A/B testing and multi-armed bandits for evaluating models, ranking strategies, and targeting policies.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance in machine learning engineering, distributed systems, and ML infrastructure design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering in any field, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience designing and building large-scale software systems and ML recommender systems.
- Experience delivering complex systems, collaborating across teams, and working with Python, Golang, or Java.
- Experience building ML models with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience designing and integrating APIs using REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC.
- Experience with Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, SNS, SES, Kubeflow, Ray, Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B experiments to measure and optimize system performance.
