Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new software features using Golang or other appropriate programming languages.
- Design and implement databases, schemas, queries, and access patterns.
- Participate in Agile development ceremonies, code reviews, and software architecture discussions.
- Refactor application code to improve stability, performance, and scalability.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with team leads, architects, and engineers on product design and architecture.
- Work with continuous integration and delivery processes and respond to security threats.
- Support Red Hat’s global customer support teams in assisting customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent U.S. or foreign credential.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
- Five years of experience with at least one of Golang, Python, Java, C#, or C/C++.
- Three years of experience with microservices architecture and concepts, including APIs, versioning, and monitoring.
- Two years of experience with container-related technologies, virtualization, or distributed systems.
- Two years of experience with one or more public cloud service providers, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- One year of experience with database design and implementation.
