Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and architecture of new capabilities based on business outcomes, requirements, and constraints.
- Design API-driven and distributed solutions, including connector architectures and integrations.
- Document and communicate technical decisions, identify risks, and resolve technical challenges.
- Lead design and code reviews while establishing engineering standards and best practices.
- Break complex initiatives into implementable increments and oversee technical delivery.
- Partner with onshore architecture teams and serve as the primary technical contact for the delivery team.
- Contribute directly to building and implementing solutions through hands-on development.
- Lead the team's delivery cadence and support implementation of delivery metrics.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and/or system architecture ownership.
- Experience taking ambiguous business problems from concept through production-ready solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with Python.
- Strong experience with Azure services, especially Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, storage, and identity.
- Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of API-driven and distributed systems design.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, automated testing, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions and risks to senior stakeholders.
- Fluent English proficiency and the ability to work autonomously while making independent architectural decisions.
- Preferred experience with Azure AI Foundry, generative AI applications, Model Context Protocol servers, Microsoft Graph, Copilot connectors, agent frameworks, greenfield products, or senior technical client and partner relationships.
