Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of POS terminal solutions across multiple platforms.
- Design integrations with payment technologies, EMV standards, hardware peripherals, payment processors, and gateways.
- Maintain architectural documentation and diagrams for POS terminal systems and related applications.
- Develop and lead POS-related mobile applications, primarily using Android Native technologies.
- Optimize payment processing performance, security, stability, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices for mobile and embedded systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve developer productivity.
- Mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and contribute to product and engineering planning.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in POS terminal system design, architecture, and development.
- Strong Android Native development expertise using Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with cross-platform mobile development such as Flutter, with familiarity with C and JavaScript considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of EMV security protocols, chip-based transactions, encryption, and key management.
- Experience integrating POS hardware including card readers, pin pads, printers, and other peripherals.
- Deep understanding of payment systems architecture and integrations with payment processors and gateways.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance principles in financial systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
