Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, performance, interoperability, and stress tests.
- Collaborate with silicon, architecture, and firmware development teams to develop test strategies.
- Perform manual and automation testing.
- Conduct signal integrity and protocol level validation.
- Triage and debug issues in collaboration with development teams.
- Collect and analyze PCIe traces using a PCIe analyzer.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills.
- Manage requirements and traceability through software development phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Computer Science; a master’s or PhD is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in PCIe switch testing.
- Strong understanding of the PCIe protocol.
- Proficient in scripting, particularly in Python.
- Experience with PRBS testing, loopback, and margining tests.
- Knowledge of OOB testing and protocols like MCTP, I2C, SPDM.
- Familiarity with PCIe compliance testing is a plus.
- Proficient in using Git, Jira, and Confluence.
