Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships and provide technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Conduct technical sales, use case discovery, scoping, solution architecture, and complex proofs of concept.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Lead customer and community workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Develop technical and/or industry specialization while supporting digital-native, scaleup, and greenfield accounts in Spain.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in customer-facing technical sales and solution architecture.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python or SQL, with willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with big data analytics technologies and complex proofs of concept.
- Experience with public cloud platforms and designing solutions for multiple audiences.
- Ability to discover and scope use cases, communicate technical and value propositions, and adjust technical depth as needed.
- Business proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to work from the Madrid region on a hybrid schedule and travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and training.
