Responsibilities
- Build successful customer relationships throughout Spain in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Advise customers on architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups and help build the Databricks community in the region.
- Engage customers in technical sales, clarify outcomes, and communicate technical and business value propositions.
- Develop technical and/or industry specialization.
Requirements
- Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with big data analytics technologies, complex proofs of concept, and public cloud platforms.
- Experience discovering use cases, scoping solutions, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with different levels of technical depth.
- Business proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Must be located in the Madrid region within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and training.
