Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and help select appropriate technologies.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, or managing continuous build and CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 3 years of experience with software testing frameworks or testing and maintaining software products.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience with C++ or Python and with Chrome OS, Android Build systems, or the LUCI build suite.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
