Responsibilities

  • Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services in C#/.NET using Azure and Kubernetes.
  • Develop secure methods for internal services to connect with multiple cloud service providers.
  • Create self-service tools that improve platform supportability and enable other service teams.
  • Design event-driven, asynchronous architectures across microservices.
  • Own delivery end to end, including Terraform infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and platform teams and participate in code and design reviews.
  • Use AI coding agents to design, write, and review code to the same standards as hand-written code.
  • Lead and mentor teammates in a collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with C#, Cosmos, SQL Server, ADX, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, Go, Python, and Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud security fundamentals.
  • Ability to diagnose complex cross-service issues using telemetry tooling such as Datadog RUM.
  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems using Model Context Protocol or similar AI frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and privileged access control.
  • Experience with application registration, API keys, SPIFFE, or Workload Identity Federation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of observability frameworks such as Datadog RUM and Grafana is desirable.
  • Experience with SaaS products in cloud environments, AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, or data compliance management is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
