Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and manage public, private, and on-premises cloud infrastructure, including containerized and virtualized systems.
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for repeatable delivery of distributed systems across global data centers.
- Collaborate with R&D and global engineering teams to design scalable systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and support product initiatives.
- Champion infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Drive observability and reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Lead hands-on coding and automation efforts and promote engineering and operational excellence.
- Align DevOps initiatives with uptime, deployment velocity, cost efficiency, and other business objectives.
- Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering and DevOps roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.
- Strong Linux systems administration experience.
- Deep familiarity with AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker Compose.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and XLR.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Java.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Druid, Splunk, and Loki.
- Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with Developers, QE, Operations, and support teams.
- Demonstrated ownership, prioritization, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
