Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable automated testing solutions and comprehensive test scripts and frameworks.
- Automate test cases within each sprint to support in-sprint testing, faster validation, and release confidence.
- Build end-to-end automation for A/B testing and personalization workflows using Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, content functional quality validation, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development, product, content, and centralized testing teams.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Create test plans, test strategies, and exceptional test cases based on product features and technical specifications.
- Mentor QA engineers and promote modern quality engineering practices.
- Use generative AI and agentic development techniques for test case generation, execution, coding assistance, code review, documentation, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant QA and automation development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for full end-to-end automation across modern web applications.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience writing test cases in JIRA and Cucumber.
- Experience setting up test automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD is required.
- Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, React, and Java.
- Understanding of AI-assisted software development lifecycles and QA methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with eCommerce QA automation, CI/CD test automation integration, and agentic development techniques.
