Responsibilities
- Take ownership of locally built reports, dashboards, and automations and make them production-ready.
- Replace manual processes with scheduled, automated workflows featuring error handling, logging, monitoring, alerting, managed credentials, hosting, access control, and documentation.
- Build and maintain integrations with CRM, Microsoft 365, Atlassian tooling, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
- Develop reliable data pipelines and authenticated REST API integrations that handle pagination, rate limits, retries, and partial failures.
- Build integrations and small applications using LLM APIs, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot while evaluating cost, reliability, and output quality.
- Establish standards for hosting, scheduling, version control, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Work directly with nontechnical stakeholders and coordinate with Technology, IT, and AI Centre of Excellence teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience building and running production systems.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, or strong Python skills with the ability to work confidently in TypeScript.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and authenticated third-party services, including OAuth, token handling, pagination, rate limits, retries, and error handling.
- SQL experience and experience working with data from multiple source systems.
- Experience automating manual or fragile processes with scheduled jobs, logging, monitoring, and failure alerting.
- Experience with containerized deployment, managed secrets, version control, and repeatable release practices.
- Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and communicate clearly with nontechnical stakeholders in English.
- Interest in AI-assisted development and LLM tooling, with willingness to use them day to day.
- Based in Ho Chi Minh City or able to relocate there.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce, LLM APIs, Claude, OpenAI, prompt design, MCP, AI-agent tooling, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Snowflake, Power BI, Microsoft Graph, Atlassian APIs, PHP/Symfony, customer support or ITSM, automotive or SaaS experience, and global delivery experience.
