Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and architects.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and promote operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical-debt reduction, and distributed-system performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and contribute to technology communities.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices in a you-build-it-you-own-it environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple specified languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, AI coding tools, mentoring, and technical initiative leadership.

- Full-time annual salary ranges vary by location: $179,400-$204,700 in Plano and Richmond, and $215,200-$245,600 in New York and San Jose.
