Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain systems for large-scale distributed databases.
- Support other engineering teams with core Klaviyo functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design systems.
- Write high-quality code and create infrastructure.
- Operate large-scale systems in a production environment.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in a software engineering discipline.
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience with distributed systems in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with OLTP or OLAP databases.
- Experience with high volume data processing and storage systems.
- Proficient in provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience using Linux operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn continuously and adapt to a high growth environment.
