Base Salary

$79k - $166k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, debug, and maintain Root of Trust firmware and companion software for hardware devices.
  • Develop Java- and Python-based tools, libraries, automation, and integration layers for provisioning, firmware updates, validation, diagnostics, and control-plane workflows.
  • Contribute to REST API interactions, service integration, client-side validation, and OCI systems-management workflows.
  • Analyze code and tests, identify defects, and improve reliability, maintainability, and security.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, security, service, manufacturing, and laboratory teams throughout prototype, bring-up, validation, release, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Coursework, internship, research, or professional experience in embedded systems, systems software, firmware, or hardware-adjacent software development.
  • Programming experience in C or C++ and strong programming ability in Java and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux development environments, scripting, debugging, and source control workflows.
  • Preferred qualifications include Java or client-library development, Python libraries and command-line tools, REST APIs, test automation, service integration, embedded protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, or PLDM, platform-security concepts, lab-debug tools, and automated build or DevOps practices.
