Responsibilities
- Build and maintain key surfaces within the Flutter-based Google Pay app.
- Build and own complete user flows with a focus on performance and latency.
- Develop user interfaces, integrate Remote Procedure Calls, and optimize application performance.
- Work with Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, and AI agent prompting technologies.
- Own reliability and growth for critical user surfaces and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Manager/User Experience partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, including data structures and algorithms.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes building systems for millions of global users, collaborating with PM/UX to drive features end-to-end, and mobile, full-stack, or backend development.
