Responsibilities
- Identify gaps and product opportunities in fraud, abuse, and risk management and translate them into platform and mobile solutions.
- Collaborate with product, business, programme management, backend, SRE, and geo-distributed partner teams.
- Participate in technical, product, code, and design reviews and maintain existing products.
- Research advancements in Android and fraud tools to keep products current.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, observable, and operationally excellent code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation for cross-departmental, cross-location, and senior leadership audiences.
- Experience making architectural tradeoffs to rapidly deliver software solutions.
- Experience leading software development for large-scale, highly available internet and mobile applications.
- Experience working with and growing geo-distributed partner teams.
- Experience with the Android SDK, multithreaded applications, concurrency, and Android or Linux operating-system internals.
- Fluency in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab.
