
Sr Principal, System Architecture (Digital AdTech)

- Define long-term architecture for AI-powered and agentic automation across large-scale AdTech platforms.
- Architect autonomous and human-in-the-loop systems for deployment orchestration, infrastructure lifecycle, and incident response.
- Design and evolve foundational AdOps, optimization, identity, data, measurement, and activation platforms.
- Establish patterns for multi-region, highly available, fault-isolated, disaster-resilient, and high-performance systems.
- Lead platform rationalization, cloud migration, legacy modernization, and convergence of linear and digital advertising systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in streaming, distributed systems, AI infrastructure, agentic AI, and privacy technology.
- Establish architectural governance and decision frameworks while mentoring Principal engineers and architects.
- Review and approve high-impact system architectures and align engineering, product, and business stakeholders on technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience architecting and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms, including large-scale ingestion, transformation, and activation pipelines.
- Experience automating high-availability, high-throughput production environments using AI and agentic architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of Iceberg, Delta, Hudi, Spark, Flink, Presto, Kafka, Kinesis, and Pub/Sub.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud-native data design, APIs, and serverless architectures.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms into modular, cost-efficient systems and optimizing distributed systems for throughput, latency, and cost.
- Familiarity with identity resolution, audience graphs, and cross-platform measurement systems in media, advertising, or comparable high-scale transaction domains.
- Deep knowledge of data engineering practices, CI/CD automation, observability, data lineage, governance, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of ad-tech, programmatic ecosystems, ML/AI-driven data products, privacy-first architectures, GDPR, CCPA, and VPPA.
- Experience leading technical evaluations, vendor integrations, and collaborations with third-party data providers, cloud platforms, and open-source communities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
