Responsibilities

  • Shape security architectures and transformation strategies for high-value customers across SIEM, threat detection, and security operations.
  • Advise CISOs and senior technical decision-makers on complex security challenges and enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Lead competitive displacement campaigns and complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales engagements.
  • Mobilize Cisco and Splunk resources to support strategic customer opportunities.
  • Mentor and upskill the APJC technical field through workshops, reference architectures, and repeatable technical sales motions.
  • Represent APJC customer requirements and market insights to global product and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years, PhD with 3+ years, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, Security Operations, security architecture, or technical pre-sales/consulting.
  • Deep technical knowledge of enterprise SIEM, threat detection, response, and modern security architecture.
  • Experience engaging senior technical leaders and translating business and security requirements into enterprise solutions.
  • Experience leading complex technical sales engagements across diverse geographic and cultural environments.
  • Preferred experience includes Cisco security expertise, SOC transformation, detection engineering, threat hunting, security automation, Agentic Security architectures, SIEM/XDR/security data platform competition, technical enablement assets, and regional technical leadership.
