Responsibilities
- Engineer the platform by collaborating with product teams to establish infrastructure for new apps.
- Automate repetitive tasks and harden fragile systems.
- Identify friction points in the development lifecycle and create solutions.
- Advocate for sound software design and enable developers to work efficiently.
- Enhance observability using tools like Honeycomb and Grafana.
- Drive a culture of blameless retrospectives and systemic improvements in incident response.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python and Linux with the ability to write clean, testable code.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
- A passion for automation and reducing manual tasks.
- Ability to influence and build consensus among team members.
- Understanding of balancing technical solutions with business needs.
- Experience in rapidly scaling startups is a plus.
