Responsibilities
- Navigate complex technical challenges and contribute deep expertise to engineering excellence.
- Design distributed system architectures with peers and provide technical guidance on design solutions and best practices.
- Contribute individual engineering work, technical problem-solving, and collaborative team delivery.
- Align technical components of projects with organizational business needs.
- Identify technical debt and recommend improvements or alternatives.
- Advocate for and embed everything-as-code practices across projects.
- Work with product teams across eCommerce, digital marketing, consumer solutions, and other digital product areas.
Requirements
- Computer Science or Software Engineering-related degree.
- At least 8 years of experience with production-scale, scalable distributed system landscapes.
- Expertise in cloud-native patterns and methodologies, with focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- Extensive cloud computing experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with Kubernetes, service mesh, Helm, Operators, MongoDB Atlas, Azure API Management, multi-cloud environments, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Desirable experience with SAP systems.
- Desirable production experience with Kafka or Azure Event Hubs/Azure Event Grids and understanding of event-driven architecture.
