Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, design, code, unit test, and release .NET software solutions and application enhancements for Austraclear.
- Implement bug fixes and security-related code improvements while maintaining code quality through code and process reviews.
- Create and maintain technical, operational, and system-support documentation and tools.
- Provide intra-day and after-hours Level 3 support, including complex incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with first- and second-line support teams, vendors, internal users, and external users to resolve production issues and reduce incidents.
- Provide software analysis to support business decision-making and contribute to continuous modernization of the platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a full-stack .NET software engineer or application engineer role in an enterprise environment.
- At least 4 years writing SQL queries and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, or 5+ years with a similar relational database management system.
- Experience integrating .NET systems with ForgeRock IAM and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Syncfusion or other third-party .NET user controls and Active Reports.
- Working knowledge of SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messaging protocols.
- Experience providing third-level support and working within broader incident-management teams.
- Proficiency with GitLab and Git, Microsoft operating systems, Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and Stash, and V-model or hybrid agile delivery models.
- Experience with DevOps and continuous-integration tools including GitLab, Nexus, and SonarQube.
- Experience with Wix deployment, .NET systems in AWS, Microsoft C++, cloud service concepts, and enterprise software systems.
- Industry experience in clearing houses, stock exchanges, or investment banking is required or preferred.
- Strong software analysis, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and concurrent-workstream coordination skills.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent background.
