Base Salary
$168k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support high-speed Ethernet switching designs, packet-forwarding pipelines, and embedded software.
- Help users deploy Broadcom switch and NIC solutions for HPC and AI/ML data centers.
- Run benchmarks and tune congestion control, load balancing, and QoS performance.
- Work with users on SAI and SDK integration and validation.
- Support L2/L3, VLAN, VxLAN, SRv6, ACL/FP, IP tunneling, multicast, and RoCE features.
- Guide users on AI fabric design, RDMA, congestion tuning, topology, and collective-traffic behavior.
- Deliver accurate and timely technical support and collateral while coordinating customer and engineering communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering with 15+ years of networking-domain experience, or a master's degree with 13+ years of networking-domain experience.
- Experience with RDMA, RoCEv2, Ethernet, high-performance networking, network architecture, and network topologies.
- Working knowledge of L2/L3 switching, VLAN, VxLAN, SRv6, ACL/FP, IP tunneling, and multicast.
- Knowledge of PFC, ECN, and DCQCN congestion techniques.
- Experience debugging embedded software, with Linux kernel and kernel networking knowledge as an advantage.
- Hands-on SAI API development, porting, or ASIC SDK integration experience.
- Knowledge of the SAI object model and its mapping to hardware pipeline resources.
- Experience integrating SAI with NOS stacks such as SONiC or other systems on Broadcom XGS/DNX platforms, including Tomahawk, Trident, or Jericho.
- Experience debugging or extending SAI implementations and resolving SAI-to-SDK translation issues.
- Exposure to multi-vendor NOS ecosystems, HPC and AI/ML data center operations, high-radix GPU or accelerator fabric topologies, and telemetry-driven network operations is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, self-direction, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
