Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable automated testing frameworks and test infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for front-end and back-end components.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and testing environments.
- Test APIs, integrations, databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms using JSON/XML payloads.
- Transform manual test coverage into reliable, maintainable, high-value automated coverage.
- Create test software and reporting solutions that improve developer feedback and delivery quality.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, leadership, and DevOps teams to improve testability and communicate risk.
- Use AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, analysis, and productivity.
- Support distributed collaboration and critical releases across time zones.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience working as an embedded Quality Engineer in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to iPaaS, SaaS, cloud-based platforms, distributed systems, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience testing APIs and validating integrations with relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, npm, yarn, JMeter, JIRA, and GitHub.
- Experience using AI tools for test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.
- Ability to independently understand vendor API documentation and navigate complex integration landscapes.
- Strong written and verbal communication, ownership, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to flex working hours for cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases.
