Base Salary
$106k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans and scripts validating the quality and performance of trading and market data systems.
- Collaborate with development and project management teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects throughout the release cycle.
- Lead test planning across applicable testing phases and maintain complete issue documentation.
- Develop and maintain internal testing tools and automation frameworks for the engineering organization.
- Define and improve release and quality assurance procedures for scalable software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and functional testing in a high-performance or financial technology environment.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and backend systems testing in command-line/server-based environments.
- Strong scripting skills for building and maintaining test automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with source code management and defect tracking tools.
- Preferred experience testing financial or trading systems, including order routing or market data platforms.
- Preferred exposure to financial-market messaging protocols and quality process improvement or business process analysis.
