Base Salary
$150k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality strategy for batch analytics features, data pipelines, and APIs.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and comprehensive functional, performance, security, and accessibility test strategies.
- Evaluate technical designs for testability, scalability, performance, and risk.
- Lead exploratory and user-focused validation initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites in Jenkins and TestNG to improve deployment confidence.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and UX to embed quality into design and delivery workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software testing experience in cloud-based or distributed systems environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python and experience contributing to test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
- Experience testing REST APIs through functional and automated approaches.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and end-to-end validation in multi-tenant applications.
- Experience with large-scale data systems or high-volume event-driven platforms.
- Strong analytical, risk-identification, collaboration, and engineering-influence skills.
- Preferred: experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, and Lambda; Hadoop, Spark, or Presto; data pipelines and batch processing; Airflow; performance, scalability, or security testing; and shared testing frameworks.
