Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based automation frameworks using modern design principles.
- Build and execute Playwright automation suites for UI, API, and backend validation.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, including planning, execution, defect management, and delivery ownership.
- Manage test data and apply automation best practices to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Lead manual testing activities including test design, execution, functional validation, and defect lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Create QA status reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive-level quality updates.
- Drive functional discussions with business teams and contribute Insurance and/or Wealth Management domain expertise.
- Support CI/CD implementation and source code management through Git-based workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong Java proficiency, including Streams, Lambdas, Collections, and modern design patterns.
- Hands-on experience developing Java-based automation frameworks.
- At least 3 years of strong Playwright experience covering UI automation, API testing, and backend validation.
- Solid understanding of test data management and automation best practices.
- Experience with Git, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong manual testing skills and experience with test design, execution, functional validation, and defect lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to independently lead testing efforts and drive deliverables to completion.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Experience creating QA metrics, status reports, and executive-level quality updates.
- Insurance and/or Wealth Management domain knowledge is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, and AWS S3 is preferred.
