Responsibilities
- Build and scale the research-to-trading platform from quantitative strategy prototype through production.
- Develop high-performance analytics and pricing libraries in C++ and Python for backtesting, simulation, and real-time decision-making.
- Translate ideas from investment professionals into robust production code and reproducible experiments.
- Develop and maintain pipelines and storage solutions for large historical and real-time market datasets.
- Deploy, monitor, and operate production services, including testing, release processes, and incident response.
- Optimize code paths and infrastructure for performance and latency using profiling and benchmarking.
- Create tooling for experiment management, post-trade analysis, and model validation.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and improve automation, resilience, and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems in a collaborative environment.
- Strong Python proficiency and fluency in modern C++.
- Experience with relational databases or columnar data stores using SQL and hands-on Linux development experience.
- Experience designing and operating production services, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ability to profile, debug, and optimize code and system performance for low-latency or high-throughput workloads.
- Working knowledge of financial markets and instruments including equities, futures, or foreign exchange.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, model and calculation validation, communication, and collaboration skills.
