Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
- Build reusable UI components and mobile application modules.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement state management using solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
- Develop Android native modules and platform-specific customizations.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement unit testing, automation testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Ensure application security and compliance with mobile development standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React Native and Android development.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React Hooks, mobile UI development, and mobile application architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, backend integration, and authentication technologies such as OAuth and JWT.
- Experience with state management, navigation libraries, Android SDK, Java or Kotlin, and Android native module development.
- Knowledge of Android Studio, Material Design, Android Architecture Components, push notifications, and Google Play Store publishing.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jest, React Native Testing Library, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices and security scanning or DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and analytics tools, biometric authentication, Flutter, Android Jetpack Compose, AWS or other cloud platforms, and banking or financial services applications is valued.
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams and contribute to technical discussions.
