Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and improve full-stack web applications, tools, and services.
- Develop reliable back ends, data aggregation pipelines, responsive front ends, and performance enhancements.
- Analyze problems, identify dependencies, resolve issues, and drive technical implementation.
- Write and review design documents, tests, and code using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on Google technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to identify pain points and develop technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Experience with front-end languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with back-end languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience working with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience designing and optimizing databases.
- Preferred: experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.
- Ability to adapt, exercise judgment, prioritize tasks, manage work efficiently, and provide effective technical solutions to business challenges.
