Responsibilities
- Develop customized software, integrations, analyses, and configured solutions for complex projects.
- Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and support highly complex applications and business solutions.
- Build and maintain AI/ML, generative AI, LLM, RAG, vector database, and model deployment capabilities.
- Build scalable cloud-based microservices and serverless solutions using relevant cloud and AI/ML services.
- Create automated unit, integration, functional, and release testing capabilities.
- Build non-functional monitoring, model monitoring, security controls, and production support capabilities.
- Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger initiatives while solving complex technical and operational problems.
- Partner with product owners during design, refine user stories, and deliver software meeting acceptance criteria.
- Mentor teammates, transfer knowledge to production support, and potentially oversee a small team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or 10+ years of software development experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying complex business applications using languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Hands-on AI/ML experience focused on generative AI and LLM-based solutions, including code deployment and pipeline setup.
- Expertise in Java or Python, LLMs, transformer-based architectures, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, vector databases, model management, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience building and deploying solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP and using related AI/ML services and serverless architectures.
- Experience or exposure to scalable microservices using Docker and Kubernetes, plus relational and vector databases.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, software design, analytical problem-solving, debugging, SQL, stored procedures, data modeling, and comprehensive unit and integration testing.
- Preferred: master’s degree and ten+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Preferred: banking or financial services experience, enterprise-scale application development, open-source tools and frameworks, cloud technologies, SOA or Open API methodologies, web servers, application containers, caching technologies, messaging systems such as MQ and JMS, and build tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
