Base Salary
$83k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable AI capabilities and full-stack solutions for Fidelity Wealth.
- Partner with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams to address Wealth priorities.
- Create working prototypes and contribute to production-ready software.
- Apply software design principles to build reliable and maintainable systems.
- Own issues, navigate ambiguity, participate in design discussions, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Use test-first practices and contribute to quality engineering.
- Collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, embrace feedback, and deliver on commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 1+ years of experience.
- Strong technical fundamentals and familiarity with modern programming languages, frameworks, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience developing software with at least one modern language such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with or exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
- Understanding of software design principles and experience building reliable, maintainable systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, curiosity, initiative, and willingness to challenge assumptions.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills, including the ability to contribute to design discussions with guidance.
