Responsibilities
- Define scalable Salesforce architecture for Tender Management, pricing, contract lifecycle management, and related business functions.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and integration patterns.
- Configure, customize, and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, and integrations.
- Define and implement integrations between the Tender Management solution and ERP, pricing, analytics, and other enterprise systems.
- Evaluate, challenge, and guide vendors and system integrators to achieve effective system performance.
- Support Salesforce deployments, including managed packages, and manage sandbox operations, change requests, and maintenance activities.
- Align vendors, integrators, and business teams on system-development decisions and document specifications for technical and business audiences.
- Apply master data management practices, particularly for ERP and CRM data integrations.
- Write and execute test cases and scripts, support UAT, track defects, and manage end-to-end testing workflows.
Requirements
- Proven multi-year experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Salesforce specialist, or senior developer.
- Hands-on experience implementing or managing Salesforce-based Tender Management systems such as Model N, CubeRM, or Vamstar.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, Sales Cloud, and declarative versus programmatic solutions.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, API integrations, data management, and Salesforce security configurations.
- Track record delivering multiple large-scale, complex Salesforce projects in a global context.
- Experience with flows, role hierarchies, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, test workflows, UAT, and defect tracking.
- Ability to assess standard Salesforce functionality against the need for custom development.
- Pharmaceutical or related healthcare or regulated-industry experience is advantageous.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Technical/System Architect, or Salesforce Platform Developer are valued.
- Knowledge of Copado, GitHub, or Gearset is a plus.
