Base Salary
$138k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
- Demonstrate Snowflake technology and communicate its value throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proof-of-concepts through design and implementation.
- Provide consultative architecture and implementation assistance and uncover new customer use cases.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging.
- Build trust with customer technical audiences and develop technical champions to drive Snowflake adoption.
- Run training sessions, workshops, webinars, technical enablement programs, and solution design workshops.
- Keep customers informed about Snowflake product updates and future roadmaps.
- Represent Snowflake at customer and industry events and share customer success stories and case studies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing solution engineering or technical sales, preferably with large global accounts.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong competency with modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouses or lakes, data science, and data applications.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python.
- Experience with large global accounts, GSIs, or Global Capability Centers.
- Experience with large-scale database technologies such as Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, or Hadoop.
- Presales experience with data-related technology products and understanding of the enterprise market and technology ecosystem.
- Banking or financial services industry experience is highly desirable.
- Bonus experience includes data science, AI/ML, BI and data exploration tools, cloud providers, data modeling, data architecture, and enterprise SaaS sales to global accounts.
