Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Qualcomm Adreno GPU compiler products for high-performance, low-power graphics and compute.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver a high-quality graphics compiler.
  • Develop unit tests by writing shaders for specific graphics scenarios.
  • Identify potential performance enhancements and report functional issues.
  • Perform GPU performance analysis and profile and optimize contemporary rendering algorithms.
  • Create technical training materials such as frameworks, samples, tutorials, and videos.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • At least 2 years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan.
  • Expertise in Django REST API implementation, API-layer design, database schema modeling, and SQL/PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with RenderDoc, Pix, and NSight graphics profilers and debuggers.
  • Understanding of rendering pipelines for modern PC and console game engines and experience with Unreal and Unity.
  • Strong GPU performance analysis skills and experience developing, profiling, and optimizing contemporary rendering algorithms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
