Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud-native applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Develop microservices and serverless components for real-time equity derivatives pricing and risk calculations.
- Optimize hybrid AWS and on-premises deployments for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
- Build proprietary compute infrastructure and low-latency trading and pricing services.
- Collaborate on React and HTML5 UI components for trader-facing applications.
- Work with global development teams on functionality, enhancements, bug fixes, and release cycles.
- Provide guidance to QA and Support teams and assist with production issues.
- Capture requirements, communicate business impact, and apply distributed-architecture and programming-pattern expertise.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of application development experience using multiple languages, including C#, Go, and Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, and S3, plus Kubernetes and Rancher.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments spanning AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
- Understanding of P&L attribution and risk measures for flow derivatives, including options and futures.
- Knowledge of structured derivatives such as range accruals, barrier options, autocallables, and margin loans.
- Knowledge of trading lifecycle events including expiry, cash flows, and corporate actions.
- Experience with multithreaded and distributed architectures.
- Experience with messaging middleware such as Pulsar and Solace and distributed caching using Redis.
- Strong analytical, hands-on delivery, and technical collaboration skills.
