Base Salary
$315k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess current backend architecture for reliability, scalability, and security improvements.
- Design and implement core abstractions with the platform and infrastructure team.
- Set technical direction for scaling infrastructure to handle increased customer and document volume.
- Enhance backend engineering practices across the team.
- Ensure backend systems support evolving product needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and scaling systems from early stage to serious scale.
- Strong computer science foundation with hands-on coding and architecture review skills.
- Recent production experience with Python and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience handling sensitive data in regulated domains.
