Base Salary
$211k - $254k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support, deploy, and manage large-scale Perl production systems.
- Drive architectural improvements by evolving legacy systems into Go microservices.
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet configuration system requirements.
- Mentor and support other engineers in knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in building highly reliable distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of the Go programming language.
- Experience or willingness to learn Perl for core infrastructure support.
- Ability to drive complex projects requiring cross-organizational influence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Adaptable problem-solver who balances short-term delivery with long-term quality.
