Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical strategy for consolidating duplicated capabilities into composable shared platform services.
- Build and maintain MCP integrations, shared skill libraries, automated feedback loops, type systems, test harnesses, linters, and pre-commit hooks for agent-ready development.
- Serve as a technical resource for product teams integrating with platform services and collaborate with SRE on shared-service reliability concerns.
- Develop internal developer tooling, golden paths, scaffolding, and workflows based on direct feedback from internal engineering customers.
- Evaluate agentic development tools, establish engineering patterns, and build infrastructure that enables agents to operate reliably on meaningful work.
- Measure developer experience improvements and own platform outcomes from design through production.
Requirements
- Meaningful infrastructure or platform-layer experience with strong opinions about maintainable codebases, developer platforms, and agent reliability.
- Practical experience running agents in production-adjacent workflows and understanding the infrastructure changes needed to improve their performance.
- Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or an equivalent CLI-native development environment as a primary workflow.
- Ability to define problems, ship and measure solutions, iterate quickly, and communicate technical decisions to engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, accountability, collaboration, communication, production mindset, learning agility, and judgment when using AI coding tools.
- Preferred: familiarity with Elixir/Phoenix, TypeScript, Kafka, GCP, Temporal, Prefect, Airflow, Terraform, authentication and authorization systems, event-driven architectures, logistics or commerce software, internal developer platforms, or M&A system integration.
- Preferred: open-source contributions or participation in agentic developer communities and experience in high-growth environments.
