Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack software using Python, Django, Ember, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and write efficient, testable systems in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
- Lead technical design initiatives and efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues using logs and stack traces.
- Write and maintain robust automated tests.
- Collaborate with distributed teammates and other functions in a remote environment.
- Use pull requests to teach and learn while contributing to shared team processes, dynamics, and growth.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Professional experience with Python and Django, including REST APIs, models, and migrations.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and the ability to write and reason about SQL.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS concepts, including tenant isolation and shared versus tenant data.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework and modern single-page application concepts.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and pull-request-based delivery.
- Experience using Docker for local development.
- Willingness to use AI in day-to-day work.
- Preferred experience with Django REST Framework or an equivalent API framework, Redis, background jobs, Stripe or similar payment systems, AWS, authentication, feature flags, Ember, observability, end-to-end testing, CI/CD, integrations, and e-commerce or POS flows.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India and reside within India.
