Responsibilities
- Define, design, maintain, and execute automated test suites for API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate shipping APIs and workflows including shipment creation, rates, labels, tracking, and carrier integrations.
- Use ReadyAPI, Playwright, and PI-based automation frameworks for test automation.
- Analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and maintain traceability among requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release quality gates.
- Review test results, communicate risks, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive timely defect resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers in automation practices, test design, and shipping-domain knowledge.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of overall software QA experience, preferably with SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or API-driven products.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Strong experience with ReadyAPI for API testing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.
- Experience with PI-based automation frameworks or similar enterprise automation platforms.
- Understanding of shipping APIs, RESTful APIs, request and response validation, error scenarios, contract testing, and test data management.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to release quality gates.
- Proficiency with GitLab and knowledge of DevOps practices, network architecture, and server administration.
- Knowledge of Angular 16+ and Node.js is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
