Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python.
- Automate UI, API, and backend testing with PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Validate REST APIs, databases, and microservices-based applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to promote quality throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.
- Use AI-powered engineering and developer productivity tools to improve test coverage, generate and optimize scenarios, analyze defects, and enhance quality engineering effectiveness.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and reliable testing solutions using modern quality engineering techniques.
Requirements
- Hands-on software testing expertise across web, API, backend, and cloud-based applications.
- Strong Python automation experience.
- Experience with PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Experience with API testing, database validation, and microservices-based applications.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering or developer productivity tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar assistants.
- Ability to troubleshoot defects, collaborate across engineering teams, mentor junior engineers, and follow security and compliance standards.
