Responsibilities
- Support mobile and automotive chipset customers on design-win projects.
- Explain QCT software and solutions and provide customer training on QCT products.
- Direct customer engineers in resolving issues involving QCT and non-QCT solutions.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported problems, identify root causes, and report issues to developer teams.
- Help developer teams narrow root causes and implement fixes.
- Perform embedded software debugging at the driver and system level on real-time operating systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience with assembly, C, and C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of ARM architecture and embedded operating system theory.
- Strong embedded software debugging skills involving drivers, systems, and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with boot processes, stability debugging, assembly, simulators, and JTAG debuggers is preferred.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, test mobiles, and logging tools is preferred.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, motivation, quick-learning ability, and self-starting behavior.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of software applications engineering, software development, or related experience with a bachelor's degree; 1+ year with a master's degree; or a PhD in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with programming languages and debugging techniques.
