Responsibilities
- Establish the SRE function and help build an effective, inclusive SRE team.
- Provide technical leadership to the local team and collaborate with partner technical leads and cloud leadership.
- Guide team members on service availability and performance, automation, and automated responses to non-exceptional service conditions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead incident management and drive MTTR according to incident SLAs.
- Ensure complete alert coverage across applications, infrastructure, security, and flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
- 6–10 years of experience in distributed systems, storage systems, databases, algorithms and data structures, or Unix/Linux systems internals and administration.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and a cloud environment.
- Strong communication, ownership, and systematic problem-solving skills.
