Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and determine integration needs.
- Design, build, customize, update, and support software and web applications and software releases.
- Document software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, requirements, and recommendations.
- Provide technical leadership, present architectural and design decisions, and mentor junior Software Development Engineers.
- Work with Quality Assurance to determine whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Monitor relevant competitive products, literature, patents, and current practices.
- Support training for representatives and operations staff on internally developed applications.
- Work with global teams and maintain punctual attendance, including nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, or qualifying combinations of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience; the posting’s relevant work experience section lists 7–10 years.
- Experience with C/C++, database design, network programming, distributed system software design, and mission-critical systems.
- OpenRTB protocol and advertising industry experience are preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and technical innovation skills, with a willingness to learn and practice new techniques.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and software engineering methodologies, including Agile.
- Ability to collaborate closely with global teams and work additional hours to coordinate with them.
