Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and determine integration needs.
- Design, build, customize, update, and support software and web applications and participate in release rollouts.
- Train representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications.
- Write and maintain software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, recommendations, and other documentation.
- Research competitive applications, products, literature, patents, and current practices relevant to assigned projects.
- Provide technical leadership during design, present and defend architectural and technical choices, and mentor junior Software Development Engineers.
- Work with Quality Assurance to evaluate whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Apply software engineering, process design, redesign, project management, and independent judgment skills.
- Work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary, and collaborate with global teams across additional working hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience; the posting also lists 7–10 years under Relevant Work Experience.
- Experience with C/C++, database design, network programming, distributed system software design, and mission-critical systems.
- OpenRTB protocol experience and advertising industry experience are preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, technical innovation, and ability to learn and practice new techniques.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle practices and software engineering methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate closely with global teams and work additional hours when needed.
